1 year of Adulting

Adulting is quite a hard process. I can't believe that I went through this for a year now. Paying bills for yourself. Managing finances by yourself. Paying for your own things. Manage your temper and temperament while at work. Make sure you are on your best at your job. Facing negative and toxic people in the office. Friends are mostly busy with work and you get to hang with them on nights when they're free or on weekends. Missing school life. I can't believe I managed to get through all these hurdles in my life, I also wanna thank on how I deal with drama during school days (high school, college and uni days) because it made me kinda prepared on how to deal with negative and toxic people around me. It was hard managing my finances as I was working in Mont Kiara back then where food there cost a lot. Each meal I ate was on a average of RM20 and I hardly saved anything because lets face it, Mont Kiara is an expensive place where all the foreigners such as the J

I've visited my blog and realised that I missed out on a year (or more) because I have other social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat to update on but my Snapchat is basically dead because I'm cheating on it with Insta. But not because of social media that kept me company but rather my life as a degree student just got hectic and I didn't manage my time to write in my blog too. Every time I come across something interesting, I always took pictures and say "I must update my blog with this content" but I never did in the end because I always forgot and kept myself busy with assignments most of the time. Mostly is because posting and updating and blogs is not the main trend anymore but since I've written so many posts about my life here, I couldn't just ditch it. I don't have the heart to do it. I was about to switch to Wordpress because I heard that the layouts there are awesome when I checked up on Blogger to find ou

Breadfruits Cafe Review

To think that I FINALLY came back to my blog after a long hiatus of 6 months, cause my max hiatus is only 3 months.  I've been procrastinating too cause I'm sooooo lazy after finishing all my assignments, watching so much K-dramas and animes while reading so much manga that I need to catch up too.  All right, I'm gonna cut the crap and go straight to the point. Found this cafe when I was on a super strict diet programme due to eating clean.  There's a lot of cafes that don't serve healthy food, even if there is, it's hard to find. But thank God, there's this cafe that serves healthy food. There are two branches of this cafe called Breadfruits. It's introduced by one of my friends since I asked what are the healthy cafes that I should go. Lot G13, Ground Floor, Podium Block, Faber Towers, Taman Desa, 58100 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Tel: 03 7497 6915 The vibes of this cafe is very orange-y and very spacious. No

S Garden Cafe Review

This is a veryyyyyyy throwback post back at January as I was shocked to have received a call from a high school friend whom I didn't talk to for years. I've decided to see her to meet up for good old times and since I didn't discover anything from Pandan Indah, I've made up my mind to eat there. Amazingly they have this doggie cafe and I was surprised to know that. This cafe used to have bad reviews but as time passed, it improved. Address:  17G, Jalan Pandan Indah 4/33, Pandan Indah, Cheras, KL Tel:  016-518 7510 Opening hours: Mon - Tue: 12pm - 12am                           Thu - Sun: 12pm - 12 am Visit their Facebook page for more info at:  https://www.facebook.com/SGardenCafe/info/?tab=page_info They have another floor Apparently there were no dogs at the 'dog playhouse' since there's only one when I went there. *I was looking forward to see their husky! Damn it!* This little fel

Fougasse Boulangerie & Patisserie Review

Image
I had no idea that this cafe was owned by Levain Boulangerie and Patisserie. Same ambience and same interior design on both restaurants. I came here because:  1. Question Mark Cafe was closed  2. Had no idea where to eat so we ended up here for high school catch up. 3. We don't wanna go too far for cafe hopping Address:  25G, Jalan Pandan Indah 4/6A, Pandan Indah, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Tel:  03-4280 0618 Opening hours: Monday to Sunday from 8.30am to 9pm I thought of having salad for lunch but when I saw that it was refrigerated and it's not as fresh as I expected, I ordered spaghetti. My spaghetti was such a let down because it's just tomato sauce with mushrooms and green and red bell pepper topped with parmesan. The lamest thing is they just fry the chicken and it's just like that -.- It's called the Napolitan Spaghetti costs at RM 14.70. What the heck...I should've ordered it with the rice which is much more

Tulip by That Latte Place Cafe Review

Stumbled upon this place when me and my friends want to have lunch around Sunway Pyramid and we just went in cause it's newly opened. It's located at the Moroccan street in Sunway Pyramid. Adress: LG 2.88, Sunway Pyramid,       No.3, Jalan PJS 11/15,   46150 Petaling Jaya Tel: 016 850 3546 This place is opened by (so obvious by my blog title) That Latte Place from ikon, Connaught. I haven't tried the food there but I heard that the food there ain't bad too.  From the set lunch I ordered Chicken Bacon Sandwich with chilled lemon infused tea at RM 18.90. The dish is quite filling and tasty but the food came a little too slow as when I finished my drink after 20 minutes, the food just came... This is their chocolate macadamia cake at rm 13. It's tasty and much sums and so much of fats! #sin And of course this was shared among 2 people. That's all for now! Stay tuned! xoxo, Cecilia
