Afternoon Tea at The Ritz Carlton Hotel

After lunch at Din Tai Fung, me and my uni friends went to Ritz Carlton hotel for some high tea~
If you have no idea where Ritz Carlton is, just go into JW Marriott hotel (the ground floor where LV is located), go straight, turn left and then turn right because you'll see an entrance (a bridge) connecting JW Marriott and Ritz Carlton Residence and Hotel.
After stopping to Ritz Carlton residences, you have to walk further again and there you go!~

This is the first time coming to a hotel to have high tea and gosh, the high life taste great!

We are seated at the smoking lounge and luckily, cigars don't smell that much as cigarettes.

The first part, we are served by choosing our teas! My head goes swirl when choosing because I have no idea what to choose!
If you've noticed, there are different categories to each tea you're going to choose.
From top: Blue and Pink. Bottom: Green and Yellow.

Blue categorised teas are mostly common and he ones we find in tea-concept restaurants such as Earl Grey and English Breakfast...and there's lots more. The signature teas in the blue section is English Breakfast and Irish Whiskey Cream. English Breakfast tea is good and Irish Whiskey Cream is fragrant and tastes like cream
Pink categorised teas are fruit teas. Naomi picked Strawberry & Crisps and it tastes bad....it's fragrant but when you drink, it's bitter...
Green categorised are different type of green teas and nobody ordered that section.
Yellow categorised are teas for the body and wellness. I picked Life & Beauty because of the name and the signatures are Cape of Good Hope and I've forgotten what is the other one. Life & Beauty at the first sip wasn't good but when it's heated longer and the taste of the leaves are in the water, tastes great!

Let pictures speak shall we?

Much cigars in the cabinet

Omg so cool! It actually prevents the tea leaves from going into your tea!

Food has arrived!

Some selfies xD

What a poser xD

The upper section changes after 1-2 hours because a table infront of us got macarons and cupcakes, while we have what we got here :)
The scones, chicken quiche and chicken tart are delicious. The cream for the scones are not sweet but fresh!
The sandwich section has salmon, chicken and tuna. So tasty!
At the cakes section, we have chocolate almond cake, coconut cake, cheesecake with raspberries on top and lastly, cream cake.
The service here I have to say, is brilliant. When we asked why are the desserts different for that particular table , the waitress said that the chef changes it in different hours and amusingly, she brought us 2 cakes on what that table got and gave it to us.
I'm like...wow! And Chai said that the service here has a 'wow' factor and it does, seriously! They're so nice and polite!
Giving this place a 10/10! (I don't really give 10/10 easily you know)
Each person per pax is RM 61! Omg!

extra fact: the toilet is so grand and it's just behind the afternoon tea section*emoji with heart eyes*
